Public Call for Art
Leonard E. Stubbs Park Veterans Memorial
Project Introduction
The City of Centerville is accepting submissions for the design of a bronze United States Space Force medallion to be displayed at the Stubbs Park Veterans Memorial at 255 West Spring Valley Pike. Established in 2019, the United States Space Force secures our nation’s interests in, from and to space. We seek a design that reflects the significance of the Space Force’s contributions to the U.S. Armed Forces and aligns with the style and character of current Stubbs Park memorial medallions representing the other military branches.
The addition of the Space Force medallion is part of a larger update to the Stubbs Park Veterans Memorial which includes the addition of the Space Force medallion, the addition of the Global War on Terror to an existing monument and an informational lectern.
The selected artist will receive $750 compensation.
