Mystery Night Out is the Centerville Police Department’s special way of celebrating National Night Out, a nationwide crime prevention initiative. CPD brings the community together for a family-friendly night out where you get the opportunity to meet your neighbors and, most importantly, the men and women of the Centerville Police Department. Mystery Night Out is a team-based clue search that takes families throughout Centerville in search of clues with crime prevention and safety tips along the way. Teams need at least one licensed driver. The night begins and ends at Stubbs Park where several community groups provide music, games, food and prizes. All participants receive a free event shirt while supplies last.
This year's theme is "Move it, Move it...Over" to raise awareness about Ohio's Move Over or Slow Down Law regarding emergency vehicles on the road. So get your team together, brush up on your detective skills and help us spread the word about how we can protect those who serve our community.
Mystery Night Out starts at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, August 6 at Stubbs Park in Centerville.
