JoAnne RauCell Phone: (937) 510-7460 Term Expires 12/31/2025 Centerville resident since 1986 Council Member since 2014 Council Activities: Occupation: Retired Environmental Engineer, Delphi and Dayton Power and Light Family: Husband Steve; daughter Lynn, a 2001 CHS graduate who is married with two young children and is an Interior Designer for architect firm in Oregon; daughter Katie, a 2001 CHS graduate who lives in Washington State and works with injured workers needing rehabilitation (Workers Compensation); son Matt who is a 2005 CHS graduate and is a professor at Penn State teaching Mechanical Engineering Education: The Ohio State University, Mechanical Engineering City activities prior to Council: Planning Commission and Board of Architectural Review Personal activities: Casual gardener, enjoy travel, hiking, riding our tandem bicycle, bird watching, volunteering and home projects. Favorite activity: Spoiling grandchildren! Favorite thing about Centerville: Centerville is THE place to raise a family. We have a great community with great schools and wonderful parks, libraries and walking neighborhoods. Green space is available for walkers, sports, and wildlife. City employees are committed to serving the needs of our residents, businesses and visitors and ensure that the city keeps its small town feel yet welcomes diversity. |

My wife and children are all graduates of Centerville High School. Education: Bachelor of Arts and Juris Doctor, The Ohio State University Additional activities: Member, Rotary Club of Dayton; member and past president of congregation, Epiphany Lutheran Church Favorite thing about Centerville: Centerville has been a perfect place to raise a family with great schools, churches, parks, recreation, and safe neighborhoods secured by an excellent police department. Now that my family is raised, Centerville also has all of the necessary resources to support graceful and healthy aging. |
