Summer Concert Series and Party in the Park

Join the City of Centerville and the Centerville Arts Commission for summer music and fun at the 2024 Summer Concert Series and Party at the Park presented by Cincinnati Children's and St. Leonard.

Cincy St. Leonard

The concerts will temporarily move to the campus of St. Leonard, 8100 Clyo Road, while improvements are made at Stubbs Park.

All concerts are free and will begin at 7:00 p.m. Food trucks and beer sales will be available for guests to enjoy.  Friday night Party in the Park events begin at 5:30 p.m. and feature The Heart of Centerville and Washington Township’s vendor village with more than 30 local vendors and kids activities ahead of the 7:00 p.m. concert.

Professional lighting and audio, staging and a dance floor will be brought in to replicate the experience residents have come to know and love.

The concerts will begin Sunday, June 9 with opening night featuring Twist on Taylor, a tribute to Taylor Swift.

Based in Southern California and Las Vegas, Twist on Taylor is an exceptional ensemble dedicated to delivering and authentic and captivating Taylor Swift experience.

Twist on Taylor performs an extensive repertoire of Taylor Swift's hits, encompassing both her country and pop music eras. Audiences can expect to hear faithful renditions of popular songs such as "Love Story," "You Belong with Me," "Shake It Off," "Blank Space," and many more.

On Friday, June 14, fan-favorite Simply Queen will return to Centerville to rock the audience with the greatest hits from Queen. Simply Queen is fronted by Freddie impersonator extraordinaire Rick Rock, a Canadian songwriter, recording artist and live entertainer for over four decades.

Featuring hit songs like “We Will Rock You,” “Bohemian Rhapsody,” “Killer Queen,” you will not want to miss this exciting act.

Creedence Revived returns to Centerville on Sunday, July 7 after dazzling fans in 2023 with their tribute to the music of CCR. Creedence Revived has rapidly become one of the most highly sought after tribute bands in the world.  Playing all over the globe for crowds upwards of 30,000 people, and with a track-record of selling out shows everywhere they go, this group is the real deal.

Rolling into town on Friday, July 12 is Jumping Jack Flash, a tribute to the Rolling Stones. Jumping Jack Flash is concert-theater; a live retrospective presentation of 50 years of the Rolling Stones’. The show utilizes witty stage banter and multiple wardrobe changes to take you back in time to the swinging 60’s.

Finishing the season is the Centerville debut for The Ultimate Garth Brooks Tribute featuring Shawn Gerhard.  The thunder rolls with his performance on stage on August 9.  Having performed in residence in Las Vegas, Gerhard’s live performance is an unrivaled celebration of Garth Brooks and has ignited crowds across the country.

Uptown Music Series and Cornerstone Music Series

The City of Centerville and Centerville Arts Commission are thrilled to announce the launch of the new Cornerstone Music Series, which will join the already-popular Uptown Music Series in offering live musical performances on select Friday nights.

Both concert series are presented by Wilson Advertising and offer a vibrant and diverse lineup of live music performances throughout the spring, summer and fall months.

The Cornerstone Music Series will take place at the Cornerstone Park Pavilion, located at 5210 Cornerstone North Blvd. between Costco and Cooper's Hawk Winery & Restaurant. Performances will run 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and are designed to provide a more intimate experience for the attending audience.

Guests are invited to bring their own seating to Cornerstone Park.

Cornerstone Park is situated within one of the City's designated refreshment areas, allowing concertgoers to purchase alcoholic beverages from participating restaurants and carry them into the concert venue.  

Chick-Fil-A also will be available for purchase at select concerts at Cornerstone Park.

The Uptown Music Series will continue this year on the patio space on the northeast corner of Franklin and Main streets near Graeter’s and City Barbeque.
