RULES AND REGULATIONS:

As you plan a garage sale, please note that a permit is not required. Garage sales are limited to one sale of no more than three consecutive days, once per quarter each calendar year.

Sales may not begin before 8:00 a.m. and must end by 8:00 p.m.

One sign per lot is permitted. Signs may not be placed in the right-of-way.

CITYWIDE GARAGE SALE:

The City organizes a Citywide Garage Sale one weekend each spring. Details will be posted early each year.

Centerville residents who registered their sale prior to the deadline receive one complimentary yard sign, which will be available for pickup at the Centerville Municipal Building.

The City also advertises the sale in the newspaper, on social media and on the City website.

The City prepares a list of all registered addresses and a brief list of items for sale.
