Heart of Centerville and Washington Township
The Heart of Centerville and Washington Township consists of businesses located within the Architectural Preservation District in Uptown Centerville. The Heart of Centerville offers unique opportunities to co-op advertise with neighboring entrepreneurs, as well as an opportunity to share ideas and communicate with fellow business owners. In addition, business members promote events that draw visitors to Uptown.

The Chamber is a non-profit organization composed of dynamic businesses, civic leaders, organizations and residents working together to serve and promote our growing community.
Rebuilding Together Dayton
The City of Centerville, in partnership with Rebuilding Together Dayton, launched a pilot program designed to provide home rehabilitation for low-income homeowners, particularly the elderly.
To qualify for assistance, Rebuilding Together Dayton requires residents to:
- own their home (with their name on the deed) and have lived in it for the past five years
- be current on property taxes or have a delinquent plan set up with the Montgomery County Treasurer’s Office
- Be over the age of 60
- Have a monthly gross income under $2,275 for a household of one person (under 200% FPG)
Potential funded improvements may include exterior repairs on siding, soffit, fascia, gutters and peeling paint; leaking roofs; fire safety issues; electrical hazards; plumbing issues; HVAC repairs/replacement and accessibility modifications.
