Building Department approvals are required for the construction of commercial and residential structures including building, electric, plumbing, HVAC, gas and building occupancy

Zoning

Zoning permits are required for most home improvement projects, new businesses and commercial improvements. This includes - but is not limited to - fences, sheds, building additions, pools, decks, patios, new businesses and commercial signage. 

Public Works

Right-of-way permits are required for any work with an easement or in the public right-of-way. Work requiring a permit includes - but is not limited to - driveway apron replacement, sidewalk repair, utility repair or installation, excavation and street tree irrigation.

City Manager's Office

In accordance with City Code, permits are required for mobile food vendors, parades, solicitors and street/event closures and may be obtained through the City Manager's Office.
