The Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra Woodwind Quintet presents a multimedia presentation that pairs music with paintings, architecture and sculpture. An array of art is matched with musical selections appropriate for each of the works of art. Art images are projected and briefly discussed, followed by a related musical selection played by the Dayton Philharmonic Woodwind Quintet. Art & Arpeggios features the art of Michelangelo, Van Gogh and Chagall with music by Mozart, Respighi and Shostakovich. Admission is free.
