The City of Centerville, Centerville-Washington History and the Heart of Centerville and Washington Township are gearing up for the 17th annual Hometown Holiday Walk. It will be held along the streets and inside the shops in Uptown Centerville. This free family-friendly event will be filled with festivities including horse-drawn carriage rides, holiday caroling groups, cookie decorating, children’s games and activities, shopping with seasonal discounts and a visit from Santa! The affair ends at Benham’s Grove with a beautiful tree lighting at 5:30 p.m.! There will be free swag tote bags for visitors and a huge raffle basket packed with donations and gifts from local businesses to raise money for this year’s deserving philanthropic group: the Centerville-Washington Foundation. This organization’s mission is to make a positive impact on our district by supporting local non-profit groups. There is sure to be something for everyone at this entertaining and cheerful celebration, which is a wonderful way to connect with loved ones, local groups and the community.
