The City of Centerville is working with Montgomery County to make repairs to West Franklin Street between State Route 48 and Normandy Lane. These repairs include a water main replacement, curb and sidewalk repairs and various storm sewer repairs. These improvements are anticipated to extend the life of curbs and sidewalks and improve drainage. Work is scheduled for the spring and summer of 2020. All work is located in the roadway or public right-of-way.
This work will require lane closures on West Franklin. Crews will minimize impact by doing as much of the work at night as possible. Access to your driveway will be maintained unless curb, apron or storm sewer work is being done in front of your drive. If you send us an email address, we will send updates on the schedule as work progresses.
The City of Centerville and Montgomery County Environmental Services will be holding a public meeting to explain the scope of the overall project and answer any questions. We invite you to come to the Gerber House at Benham’s Grove on Friday, February 14 from 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m.
If you are unable to attend the meeting but you are interested in updates on the project, please contact Communications Director Kate Bostdorff or Staff Engineer Taylor Schindler.
