Event Captain-The Golf Club at Yankee Trace

The City of Centerville is now hiring for year-round, part-time position of Event Captain with The Golf Club at Yankee Trace in the Restaurant Division. The Golf Club at Yankee Trace is a championship 27-hole resort style golf course that includes a full-service restaurant and high-end banquet facilities. We seek energetic and hardworking people who can assist us in delivering exemplary customer service to our guests. Averages 20 hours per week.

Job Responsibilities:  

  • Oversees all aspects of customer service during banquets and group functions, ensuring proper timing and quality of service to patrons.
  • Ensures that banquet facility is set up to proper specifications.
  • Prepares for future banquets and meetings by ensuring rooms are set to banquet sheet specifications.
  • Performs daily and weekly cleaning and maintenance of facilities and equipment.
  • Assists in plating and serving food and drink orders as necessary.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school Diploma or equivalent and three (3) years’ experiences as a server in a restaurant or banquet facility.
  • Or any combination of training and experience which provides the desired knowledge, skills, and abilities.
