Restaurant Server
The City of Centerville is now hiring for the seasonal, part-time position of Server with The Golf Club at Yankee Trace in the Restaurant Division. The Golf Club at Yankee Trace is a championship 27-hole resort-style golf course that includes a full-service restaurant and high-end banquet facilities. We seek energetic and hardworking people who can assist us in delivering exemplary customer service to our guests. Averages 20 hours per week.
Job Responsibilities:
- Banquet Service
- Service guests with sitting, greeting and serving.
- Set up tables, chairs and clean up and tear down after every event.
- Follow and be aware of beverages and food service standards.
- Maintain a good team environment by assisting other team members.
- Restaurant Service
- Takes customers’ food and beverage orders and serves guests in a timely manner.
- Studies and learns menu choices and provides suggestions to guests regarding food choices.
- Assists in restaurant running food, clearing tables, greeting guests, serving beverages, etc.
- Learns and follows proper steps of table service.
- Performs daily functions of stocking, maintaining cleanliness and performing necessary side work to keep the restaurant area functioning efficiently.
Pay Range:
- Restaurant Server $8.54 - $12.02/hour + tips depending on experience.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Candidate must be at least 16 years of age or older with a valid driver’s license.
- Training and/or experience in serving.
- Demonstrated customer service skills.
