Restaurant Server 

The City of Centerville is now hiring for the seasonal, part-time position of Server with The Golf Club at Yankee Trace in the Restaurant Division. The Golf Club at Yankee Trace is a championship 27-hole resort-style golf course that includes a full-service restaurant and high-end banquet facilities. We seek energetic and hardworking people who can assist us in delivering exemplary customer service to our guests. Averages 20 hours per week.

Job Responsibilities:  

• Banquet Service
  • Service guests with sitting, greeting and serving.
  • Set up tables, chairs and clean up and tear down after every event.
  • Follow and be aware of beverages and food service standards.
  • Maintain a good team environment by assisting other team members.
• Restaurant Service
  • Takes customers’ food and beverage orders and serves guests in a timely manner.
  • Studies and learns menu choices and provides suggestions to guests regarding food choices.
  • Assists in restaurant running food, clearing tables, greeting guests, serving beverages, etc.
  • Learns and follows proper steps of table service.
  • Performs daily functions of stocking, maintaining cleanliness and performing necessary side work to keep the restaurant area functioning efficiently.

Pay Range:

• Restaurant Server $8.54 - $12.02/hour + tips depending on experience.

 Minimum Qualifications:

• Candidate must be at least 16 years of age or older with a valid driver’s license.
• Training and/or experience in serving.
• Demonstrated customer service skills.
