Monthly crime analysis is used to guide the road patrol efforts of the department. As crime trends are realized, residents and business owners are notified. Information is analyzed and examined by time of day, day of week, modus operandi, and location.

Bi-monthly, crime statistics are published in the Centerville Town Crier. Residents can locate their reporting area on the crime map and then look at the corresponding number of occurrences listed in the chart for the month reported.
